For a shared support
We are committed to raising awareness of the themes surrounding dying and death, with events and gatherings open to the community.
Promoting a non-stigmatised culture of death has a profound and transformative social impact.
Why
Restoring death's nature as a social, human and communal event — not merely a medical one.
Protected, shared places to encounter other experiences and prevent suffering from turning into loneliness.
Fostering self-determination and relieving the circle of care from the anguish of deciding in a moment of pain.
What Death Cafes are
The Death Cafes organised by Adelma are gatherings where we talk about death with the same simplicity with which we talk about life.
In welcoming, protected settings, people come together to explore a fundamental dimension of our human experience. They are not seminars or therapeutic self-help programmes, but simply a space for sharing — authentic and free of judgement.
Access is free, but registration is required, to help with the organisation and to foster an intimate, welcoming exchange.
