A presence that stays until the very end

End-of-Life Doula Association

Loneliness should never have the last word

More and more people reach the end of life without a network of relationships, in solitude. Where a first circle of care is missing, we become the closest presence — the one that stays until the very end.

Our end-of-life doulas offer qualified, non-denominational presence: human, emotional and practical accompaniment grounded in listening and in respect for each person's dignity.

What we do

Four areas, one commitment: being there

End-of-life accompaniment

A constant, non-judgemental presence — emotional, but practical too. Free of charge, alongside those facing the end of life in solitude.

Support for the circle of care

We support family, partners, friends and caregivers: the first circle of care, the closest one — and the most exposed to exhaustion and to a grief that often begins long before the farewell.

Doula training

We train new end-of-life doulas as an act of giving back to society: the ability to care for the dying returns to the community and multiplies.
