End-of-Life Doula Association
More and more people reach the end of life without a network of relationships, in solitude. Where a first circle of care is missing, we become the closest presence — the one that stays until the very end.
Our end-of-life doulas offer qualified, non-denominational presence: human, emotional and practical accompaniment grounded in listening and in respect for each person's dignity.
What we do
A constant, non-judgemental presence — emotional, but practical too. Free of charge, alongside those facing the end of life in solitude.
Learn moreWe support family, partners, friends and caregivers: the first circle of care, the closest one — and the most exposed to exhaustion and to a grief that often begins long before the farewell.
Learn moreWe train new end-of-life doulas as an act of giving back to society: the ability to care for the dying returns to the community and multiplies.
Learn moreEvents and gatherings open to the community, to break the taboo surrounding death and restore its nature as a human, social and communal event.
